From West Coast Beginnings to East Coast Elegance
Tara Waddell's Journey into Interior Design

I started my interior decorating journey fortuitously while living on Canada’s West Coast. After years of rich and earthy colours in my home I wanted to change it up and go light and cool. Not long after I finished, my husband and I decided to make a big move to the East Coast.
Having never sold a house before, I thought it was a necessity to hire a stager to help get our home sold. My realtor disagreed and said, ‘Do not change a thing.’ The feedback from potential buyers on the décor was incredible and it gave me confidence to renovate and decorate our “new” 100-year-old house in the heart of the 500 Lots in downtown Charlottetown, PEI.
Wanting to stay true to the age of the house and its historical location, I went outside my design esthetic comfort zone and created a moody and sexy home with a nod to the surrounding maritime influences.
This project was so fun that I decided to learn more about interior decorating in a more formal way and earned my Interior Decorator’s Certificate from QC Design School in early 2024.
I look forward to hearing about YOUR vision for YOUR home so I can help you achieve your dream home look that is cohesive and on point for you!
